Early Times Old Reserve Kentucky bourbon - a tasty expression from a very long-running brand. Interestingly, Early Times have their own cooperage to create the barrels that their whiskey ages in! A good value bourbon which uses a high percentage of corn in its mashbill.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: A relaxed, sweet bourbon that wears its high-corn-percentage on its sleeve. Plenty of vanilla-rich caramel and a crack of black pepper.
Finish: Finish is smooth and long.

Early Times distillery was founded in Shively, Kentucky in 1860 by Jack Beam, uncle of Jim.
