In the 20th century, the vineyard plots and the name of the wine “Chateau Romefort” were attached to Chateau Lamothe de Bergeron, and the wine was classified as a Cru Bourgeois. Today Chateau Lamothe-Bergeron is bringing the wine and its history back to life by reviving the Chateau Romefort brand.
