The vineyard is run organically and biodynamically. The vineyard is one of the most southwesterly in the Pomerol appellation – indeed, it is situated in Bonalgue, a northern suburb of Libourne. The small vineyard is bordered to the south by housing and to the west by the high-speed railway line between Bordeaux and Paris. Although its location is not generally considered among the top-flight of Pomerol terroir, the estate reportedly sits on an excellent soil profile, even boasting Pomerol's signature \"crasse de fer\" (iron-rich sandy, gravel-clay).
