Jameson Caskmates Series Stout Edition Irish Whiskey | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Grass and some fruit alongside delicious oily pot still character.

Palate: Orchard fruits, great mouthfeel but the vanilla cream is less prominent.

Finish: Again familiar, but different, that different complexion of spice with chocolate from the nose lingers briefly.

Distillery Information

Long ago, in a time before selfies, we were founded by that man, John Jameson. Born in Alloa in Scotland in 1740, he came to Dublin in the late 1770s. Four of his sons followed him into distilling in Ireland, setting up a family dynasty that was to last for generations.
