The labels are covered in spicy knowledge morsels like mill type, spirit still shape, wort clarity, and more! The whisky itself is packing oodles of baked goods and maple syrup notes, which just so happens to be a great flavour pairing for knowledge morsels...
Glen Elgin 14 Year-Old - Derestricted Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Buttered apples, cinnamon rolls with lots of icing, nutty brown bread, milky tea, a subtle hint of straw.
Palate: Golden Grahams, maple syrup, peach Campino sweeties, spiced fruit buns (heavy on the nutmeg), oily hops.
Finish: Softly malty, with stone fruit and banana bread.
