Classy, very rich, very complex flavors and a supremely long finish make for a stunner of a wine...Anne Gros said that she realized yields in '00 that were considerably less than in '99; specifically, yields were about 40 hl\/ha for the villages and 38 to 39 hl\/ha for the premiers and grands crus. The estate produces a range of wines from local and neighboring appellations across both the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grape varieties.The domaine has a total of 6.5 hectares (16 acres) across nine appellations, including parcels in the Grand Cru vineyards of Clos Vougeot, Echezeaux and Richebourg. Anne Gros also makes village-level Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny wines, as well as generic Bourgogne rouge and Bourgogne blanc wines.The vines are farmed according to biodynamic principles.
