The 2018 Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is bold with black forest fruit and anise, nuanced with violet, pine resin, sage, and nutmeg. Densely concentrated and intensely flavorful on the palate with dark fruits, graphite and cocoa nibs.

• Wine Advocate: The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley, blended with 2% Merlot, was aged 24 months in 40% new French oak. It has a deep ruby color and aromas of cassis with accents of graphite, sage, tobacco leaves and thyme. The full-bodied texture is grainy and fresh with a seamless feel and balanced ripeness, finishing long and detailed.

• Jeb Dunnuck: The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley is terrific and just classic Sonoma Cabernet. Lots of cassis, blackcurrants, lead pencil shavings and rocky, savory earth-like nuances all emerge from this spicy, medium-bodied, beautifully balanced Cabernet. It shows the fresh, focused style of the vintage, has wonderful purity, and enough tannins to warrant 2-3 years of bottle age.

Arrowood Vineyards and Winery is a Californian producer located in Sonoma Valley. It specializes in a range of single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon wines from some of Sonoma's most famous appellations, including Knights Valley, Alexander Valley and Moon Mountain. A majority of Arrowood's collection is sourced through long-term growing contracts with the proprietors of some of the top vineyards in Sonoma, including Monte Rosso on Moon Mountain and Smothers-Remick Ridge on Sonoma Mountain amoungst others. The estate's flagship wine, Réserve Spéciale, is a blend of the best barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from some of these vineyards as well as Arrowood's estate vineyards. The winery and estate vineyard is located at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains in a sheltered, 3 hectare (8 acre) property. This vineyard is planted to Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Viognier. Arrowood Vineyards was founded in 1986 by Richard and Alis Arrowood and today, is owned by the Jackson Family Wines.
