Ardnahoe Cask Strength is composed exclusively of spirit matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, hand selected for their fullness of character. This Batch 1 has been aged for five years and is offered at its natural cask strength of 60.9%, and is bottled with no artificial colouring and no chill-filtration.

Nose: Coastal brine, earthy peat and rich cocoa on the nose.

Palate: Orchard fruits, herbal tea and salted caramel on the palate, leads into a smoky.

Finish: Finish with citrus undertones.

"Ardnahoe Distillery's story is about the Laing family, renowned independent bottlers (Hunter Laing & Co.), fulfilling Stewart Laing's lifelong dream to own an Islay distillery, becoming Islay's ninth, opening in 2018/2019 with traditional methods (long lyne arms, worm tubs) but modern tech, and blending classic Islay peat with fruity notes, offering visitor experiences near Caol Ila and Bunnahabhain."
