SPEY 26 Year Old was created by the Speyside Distillery to reflect the beauty of its Cairngorms home and pay tribute to the Scotch whisky region it takes its name from. It was matured in a selection of casks, with a final period of maturation in rich sherry casks.

Nose: A lovely blend of marzipan and cranberry with a touch of sweet cinnamon spice, followed by the warm, comforting aroma of dried fruits like Christmas cake. Subtle notes of ripe banana and smooth oak add depth and warmth.

Palate: Rich with a honey-like sweetness that gently coats the palate. Tangy raspberry and blackcurrant notes pair perfectly with velvety dark chocolate, creating an indulgent taste experience.

Finish: Clean but bold, with the creamy sweetness of Black Forest cake mixing with light citrus blossom. The finish is smooth, elegant, and long-lasting.

"Virtually unseen as a single malt – it has appeared under the Drumguish and Glentromie labels and is the liquid in the Loch Dhu ‘homage’ Cu Dubh – the distillery’s whisky is still further travelled than many of its compatriots. The mature spirit has appeared, incognito, in blends across Asia, has been launched in Mongolia, is a single malt range (called ‘Spey’) in Taiwan, and has been added to neutral spirit to produce Bhutanese whisky."
