Released in September 2017, this is a 14 year old single malt from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. It was aged in casks that previously held bourbon, which has imparted generous notes of general-vanilla-tastiness to the whisky. A release of 9,000 bottles - and we expect these to fly off the shelf.

Nose: Vanilla yogurt, salted popcorn, marshmallows and toffee follow a creamy American soda with sugar doughnuts and heather notes.vanilla yogurt, salted popcorn, marshmallows and toffee follow a creamy American soda with sugar doughnuts and heather notes.
Palate: There's more thick cream and yogurt, this time with honey, golden syrup and liquorice, before sweet apples, almonds, dried bananas, icing sugar and lemon zest.
Finish: A touch of smoke and dry peat builds with briny maritime influences and subtle mineral aspects.
Distillery Information
The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
