Maximin Grünhaus is a German wine estate located in the Mertesdorf municipality within the Ruwer district of the Mosel region, north of Trier. It known for its spicy, mineral-laden wines, led by Riesling, sourced from monopole vineyards. The first documented evidence of the Maximin Grünhaus vineyards dates to 966, when the land was given to the Benedictine monastery of St. Maximin in Trier.
