Togouchi 25 Year Old For Hiroshima TOYO Carp Champions 2016 Limited Edition Whisky

The Chugoku Juzo brewery and distillery was established in 1918 in Hiroshima and makes whisky one the side. This Togouchi whisky uses Scottish malt and Canadian grains. Ageing, blending, and bottling are all carried out in Japan. The blend therefore has both a Scottish and Canadian character, not to mention a Japanese soul. This particular Togouchi bottle was aged for 25 year and released to commemorate the Hiroshima Toyo Carp Champions 2016. It comes in a wooden box, we have no doubt that you will appreciate this.

Nose: The aromas have alight fruit notes with malt and spice.

Palate: Smooth and soft with good sweetness and winter spice.

Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Distillery Information

Chugoku Jozo was founded near the city of Hiroshima. The Distillery produces since 1918 fruit liqueurs, sake and shochu under the brands Dharma and Songshan, a long aged shochu.
