Linkwood 11 Year Old Cask #900162 Dram Mor Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML

This single malt from Linkwood spent 11 years maturing, including a finish in a French oak oloroso sherry hogshead. The cask was opened by indie bottler Dràm Mòr in 2024, releasing a total of 325 bottles.

Nose: Great elegance and charm on the nose.

Palate: A very pleasant, rich and smooth taste in the mouth. Lovely texture.

Finish: Elegant long lasting aftertaste.

Distillery Information

Linkwood was established by Peter Brown in 1821. Brown owned the Linkwood Estate and viewed the distillery as a means of turning barley grown on his land into income. Whisky wasn't officially produced until the Excise Act of 1823 made it cheaper to buy a license. Production began in 1825.
