One of the selection of distilleries in the Highlands. "Yes, but specifically which Highland distillery?" we hear you ask again, this time a bit more pointedly. OK, we don't know. What we do know is that it's a distillery in the Highlands, and that the whisky was aged for 42 years before the Boutique-y bunch got their mitts on it. That's all we know! Batch 1 is a release of 473 bottles. ‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Nose: Lots of tropical fruit brightness here, with dried mango and pineapple chunks galore. A slow build of herbaceous richness grows in the background.

Palate: Cinnamon, anise, caraway, melted butter, and plum jam, all balanced wonderfully together.

Finish: Vanilla pod richness, with herbal elements once again making their way to the fore.
