At one point he discovered two small parcels of land with exceptional quality, one in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and the other in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. The vineyards were planted in 2008 and the maiden vintage was 2012. Only in 2015 Hannes Storm was able to dedicate 100% of his time to his own brand. Storm Wines is focusing on two grape varites: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With these wines Hannes is trying to get the purest characteristics of each site into the bottle.
