Nose: Salted caramel, dried fruit, toasted oak, and vanilla bean.

Jefferson’s is a bourbon brand founded by Trey Zoeller. The “Ocean Aged at Sea” series is one of their signature experimental lines: after an initial aging period in land-based warehouses (rickhouses), barrels are put aboard ships that travel global sea routes. The constant motion of the ocean, exposure to salt air, and swings in temperature/humidity are said to accelerate maturation and impart maritime notes you don’t get from land-only aging.
