Nose: Intense aromas of caramelized sugar, orange zest, dried cherry, herbs, and heavy oak.

Palate: Sweet cream soda and syrupy cherry layered with brown sugar, toasted oak, and bold baking spices.

Finish: Long, fiery, and rich, with lingering cocoa, spice, and dark cherry notes.

Distillery Information

MGP (MGP Ingredients) is a large distillery in Indiana known for producing high-quality whiskey distillate used by many brands. Prohibition Craft Spirits, based out of Louisville, Kentucky, runs the Nulu Single Barrel Program, selecting barrels from MGP, aging or finishing them, then bottling them uncut and unfiltered. The “Hazmat Proof” label refers to bourbon bottled at proofs above 140, which has additional handling/shipping regulations and is marketed as extra intense.
