Caol Ila 35 Year Old Special Releases 2018 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Matured in refill and rejuvenated American Oak hogsheads and European oak butts for 35 years, this special release 2018 single malt is sweet on the nose with elements of pear and apple, a hint of black pepper is thrown in to the medley on the palate.

Nose: Fruity and floral with a light smoke on the nose.

Palate: A creamy palate with a touch of spice and lingering charcoal in the finish.

Built in 1846, Caol Ila is the largest of the eight working distilleries on the island of Islay (situated off the west coast of Scotland), with a production capacity of 3 million litres per year.
