Big Five Cafecito is a Cuban Coffee Flavored Rum inspired by the coffee drink with the same name. A Cafecito is traditionally a small cup of coffee enjoyed in an espresso cup brewed with a little sugar for added richness. Perfect over ice or in a cocktail, this coffee rum is a great addition to a home bar for easy but delicious cocktails that will make you feel like a professional barista and bartender! Founded by two 1st generation Cuban-Americans, Big 5 Rum is an homage to the Cuban heritage and the big 5 social clubs in Old Havana in the 1950’s. In the 1950’s, Havana raised its rum drinks at the grand social clubs, and there were no bigger clubs than the Big Five: the Vedado Tennis Club, the Mirimar Yacht Club, the Biltmore Yacht and Country Club, the Havana Yacht Club and the Casino Espanol. Big 5 Rum celebrates the breezy, cosmopolitan leisure of those clubs and the Cuban spirit that flowed through them.

Nose: Hints of cinnamon and coffee on the nose.

Palate: A delightful bitterness of a rich espresso and a touch of sweetness on the palate. Flavors of candied coffee bean, dark chocolate, tobacco, nutty almond, caramel and crème brulee on the palate.

Finish: Subtle sweetness balances the bitterness from the espresso to accompany a creamy mouthfeel.
