Dictador Game Changer Violet Rum | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense and complex. Sweet notes of maple syrup come to the forefront, soon supported by hints Kopiko candies and caramel. The balance is provided by aromas of orange peel and orange with cloves. The intensity of the nose is emphasized by a lightly present alcohol note.

Palate: Balanced and fresh. The aromas are consistent with the nose, with slightly stronger notes of caramel, roasted nuts, honey, and a good counterbalance of dried citrus.

Finish: Long and pleasant, thanks to the strong aromatics and sweet notes highlighted in the aroma and flavor description.

Distillery Information

The history of the Dictador brand goes back to 1751 when Severo Arango y Ferro arrived in Cartagena, where his power would soon earn him the nickname of Dictador. More than a century later, in 1913, Don Julio Arango y Parra, a descendant of the Dictador established Destileria Colombiana.
