Bowler is an independent fine wine and spirits distributor and importer based in New York City. The portfolio is made up of mostly small, family run estates-- most of whom share a philosophy that includes organic or biodynamic farming practices and winemaking or distilling techniques best described as "low intervention". The company, named David Bowler Wine, started in the fall of 2003 with a small, high-quality portfolio of mostly French and German wines. Renamed "Bowler" in 2019 to recognize the efforts and contributions of the entire company and its new president, Gabriel (Gab) Bowler, the company today represents wines from most of the major wine regions in the world and works with many of the regions' recognized leaders in quality. In 2016 we acquired our spirits license and have been adding small batch, high quality spirits to the portfolio with the same care that we give to our fine wine portfolio. Wines and spirits "Imported by Bowler" are now available and sold in 38 states in the U.S.
