High West Barreled Boulevardier

This barreled cocktail from the Utah distillery blends together 6 year old Bourbon with Vya Sweet Vermouth and Gran Classico, and ages them in a barrel for 4 months. A compex and strong cocktail that inspires interplay between sweet and bitter, it scored 88 points in 2014 from the Beverage Testing Institute.

Nose: Herbal aroma of amaro.

Palate: Dried cherries, sweet fruits, cinnamon, oak and roasted nuts.

Finish: Mellow, bitters.
