From their limited-edition intensely sherried collection, Darkness presents this gorgeous Glenrothes expression. The Speyside whisky has been matured for 13 years, including a finish in hand-coopered Oloroso octave casks. Bottled at a robust 59.9% abv. Expect aromas of freshly baked all-butter croissants, cinnamon, honey and raisins, which lead into a palate reminiscent of a morning in a fresh bakery. Buttery pastries melt into malty sweet and nutty finish.
