GlenAllachie 11 Year Old 2009 (cask 5000) - Single Cask Scotch Whisky | 700ML

Wine cask-matured GlenAllachie here, released as part of the distillery's UK-exclusive Single Cask series. The single malt was distilled in 2009, and rested in a barrique which previously held Grattamacco wine for 11 years. It was bottled in 2021 at 58.3% ABV, with an outturn of 302 bottles.

Nose: Bakewell tart, orange chocolate, and chai spices, with whiffs of honeyed florals.

Palate: Crystallised ginger, dried apricot, and summer berries, along with dry wood spices.

Finish: Chocolate-coated cherry, and toffee.
