This can be defined as a single malt whisky, but also as a real piece of Japanese history. It is the culmination of more than half a century of maturation in oak; one can only imagine the depth of flavour found within. Presented in an oak, handcrafted box, the Yamazaki 50 year-old is more than a whisky. Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
