The 1998 vintage of Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition, bottled in 2015. Each distillery's 'DE' is finished in a different wood – Dalwhinnie's uses oloroso-sherry casks, resulting in an added layer of rich fruit.

Nose: Dark chocolate and honey'd malt.

Palate: The Sherry finish with plenty of sweet, rich, fruity notes.

Finish: Long finish with touches of oak and vanilla.

Dalwhinnie, Scotland has a population of 80. That’s not a typo. It is home to a small schoolhouse, a pub, an inn, a train station, and the Dalwhinnie Distillery. What else do you need, really? The distillery is famous for being the “highest” distillery in Scotland.
