Nose: An inviting bouquet of cherry liqueur, velvety dark chocolate, and sweet candied fruits. Layers of malt, coconut, and delicate vanilla unfold, while soft whispers of grain add subtle depth. The finish reveals the complexity of Brazil nuts, smooth leather, and a touch of tobacco.

Palate: Bright, tropical fruit flavours burst onto the tongue, complemented by the indulgent creaminess of banana sundae ice cream. A rich, dark complexity unfolds, with warm spice from nutmeg and a gentle smoothness of cappuccino adding depth.

Finish: Silky and elegant, the whisky glides effortlessly, leaving a lingering sweetness and fragrant fruit that resonates long after the final sip.

Distillery Information

"Virtually unseen as a single malt – it has appeared under the Drumguish and Glentromie labels and is the liquid in the Loch Dhu ‘homage’ Cu Dubh – the distillery’s whisky is still further traveled than many of its compatriots. The mature spirit has appeared, incognito, in blends across Asia, has been launched in Mongolia, is a single malt range (called ‘Spey’) in Taiwan, and has been added to neutral spirit to produce Bhutanese whisky."
