This limited-edition single malt from The Kinship series was released at Feis Ile in 2018 to celebrate the completion of Ardnahoe distillery. Distilled at Bowmore distillery on Islay in 1996, it spent the next 21 years maturing in two refill hogsheads, creating a savoury, peat and sea-salt edge to the nose, alongside purple heather and vanilla aromas. The palate offers notes of toasted oak, vanilla, caramel and seaweed, alongside gentle waves of peat smoke.

Distillery Information
Bowmore is a distillery that produces scotch whisky on the isle of Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides. The distillery, which lies on the South Eastern shore of Loch Indaal, is one of the oldest in Scotland and is said to have been established in 1779. The distillery is owned by Beam Suntory who also own the Auchentoshan, Glen Garioch, Laphroaig and Ardmore distilleries and produce the Teacher's Highland Cream blend.
