Delicious on the tongue and it has a surprisingly smooth and lingering finish.

Dalmore 1979 23 Year Old Sherry Cask Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.

Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.

Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.

Distillery Information

The Dalmore Distillery is located in Alness, which is 20 miles North of Inverness. It sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth overlooking the Black Isle, the "big meadowland", from which it takes its name.
