This Speyside single malt was distilled at GlenAllachie in 2001 and matured in a single Pedro Ximenez hogshead for a full 18 years before bottling in August 2019 at a cask strength of 55.1% abv. Released as part of the second batch of UK exclusive single casks from the distillery, only 307 bottles have been produced, each one individually numbered.

Nose: Orange zest and green apples with hints of cinnamon spiced chocolate.

Palate: Honeycomb and sweet barley sugar with rich raisin and treacle.

Finish: Orange peel and sweet spices linger on.

Glenallachie is a malt whisky distillery on Speyside at Aberlour founded in 1967. It has mainly produced whisky for blends. Under Chivas ownership it released 2 official bottlings at cask strength, one of 16 and one of 18 years old. A new core range of 10, 12, 18 and 25 year old whisky was released in 2018 under the new ownership, as well as additional single cask releases.
