Rapet 's Beaune Greves Premier Cru 2020 shows a beautiful bright ruby ​​red color, with a bouquet of dark fruits such as raspberries and a powerful, spicy sip with delicate tannins. A great red wine produced by the skilled hands of Vincent and Sylvette with sustainable methods in full respect of the terroir, with a predominantly fruity, elegant and sumptuous profile.

• Jasper Morris: Medium to dense raspberry, not much deeper than the other Beaunes. The nose is a little bit sterner, more backward certainly. This is on the ripe side, definitely plummy, with quite a firm structure. Still early days for this wine and we shall see where the balance emerges. Probably in a good direction.

Domaine Rapet Père et Fils is a Burgundy wine estate situated in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses. The family-owned domaine can trace its foundations back to 1765, and is today managed by Vincent Rapet. Since taking over the reins in the 1990s, Vincent Rapet has overseen the construction of a new winery in 2003, and has expanded the domaine's vineyard holdings. The domaine now spans 18 hectares (44.5 acres) of land that encompasses three grand cru vineyard sites in Corton, and ten premier cru vineyard plots across the villages of Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Savigny-les-Beaune. Domaine Rapet produces three grand cru wines from plots in Corton, Corton Pougets and Corton-Charlemagne. The Corton-Charlemagne grand cru is the only white wine in this trio and is made from Chardonnay. After fermentation in 30 percent new oak barrels, the wine is aged on its lees and bottled after 12 months. The Pinot Noir grapes destined for the Corton Pougets and Corton-Charlemagne grand crus are fermented for approximately two weeks, aged in 40 percent new oak barrels and bottled using filtration. The domaine also produces a selection of village-level wines from vineyard holdings in Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune and Pernand-Vergelesses. Unusually, Domaine Rapet Père et Fils produces a single Bourgogne Aligoté wine from its 1ha (2 acre) plot of Aligoté vines.
