Reviews:
- Falstaff: In the scent kiwi and gooseberry with a pinch of black pepper, a fruity scent that elegantly navigates between greenish components and ripe fruit. Powerful palate, integrated acidity, good freshness, ends pointedly, youthful spiciness and moderate alcohol give the wine something carefree and carefree despite the good extract.
Producer Information
Weingut Emil Bauer is a family-run winery located in the village of Landau-Nussdorf, in the Pfalz region of Germany. The winery is managed by brothers Alexander and Martin Bauer, who represent the fifth generation of winemakers in their family. The winery cultivates 19 hectares of vineyards, which are mainly planted with Riesling and Pinot varieties. The vineyards are managed using sustainable practices, with an emphasis on low yields and high quality fruit. The brothers strive to work in harmony with nature and their vineyards are certified organic. The winery produces a range of wines, including dry and non-dry Rieslings, as well as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. The wines are made with minimal intervention in the cellar, allowing the fruit to express itself naturally. The winery also produces a sparkling wine made using the traditional method. The wines of Emil Bauer are characterized by their purity, freshness and minerality. They are known for their vibrant fruit flavours, balanced acidity and elegant structure. The winery has received numerous awards for its wines, both nationally and internationally, and is recognized as one of the leading producers in the Pfalz region.
