It's the third batch of rum from the Guyana's Diamond Distillery, produced using the wooden Versailles still. No matter how many times I hear the phrase 'wooden still', there continues to be a moment of pause in my brain where I have to stop have think, "Wait, how does that even work?!" Eventually that passes and I accept that it does work - and it works very well, if this rum is anything to go by. Probably works much better than that glass hammer or chocolate teapot featured on the label, anyway... Batch 3 is a release of 2,207 bottles. Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in taste.
