This Wakatsuru Junenmyo is a smooth, fruity blended whisky that was given a finishing period in a Manzanilla cask that has added gentle background spices to the delicious spirit. This whisky was named after the village of Junenmyo, known for producing oil lamps, with Wakatsuru stating they hope “it warms your heart like a gentle light of lamp.*This particular bottling was produced prior to the introduction of Japanese whisky labeling standards in February 2021.*

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.

Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
