The brand is one of the oldest and most famous producers of Armagnac, which is a type of brandy made in the Gascony region of France. It is a type of brandy that is distilled from wine. It is made from a blend of grapes from the Bordeaux region, primarily Ugni Blanc and Colombard. The grapes are then distilled twice, first in a pot still and then in a column still. The result is a delicate, sweet spirit with a hint of apple. The Dartigalongue XO Armagnac is made from a blend of Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and Sémillon grapes.
