This bottling of PMD is the only Irish whisky in existence made with 100% Irish grain and 100% Irish peat, and also malted in Ireland. In fact the barley and the turf come from the same farm, and the grain was malted on site at the farm.

Distillery Information

Founded in 2014, Blackwater Distillery is a micro distillery based on the banks of the river Blackwater in Cappoquin. The company produces three core products, their flagship brand Blackwater No. 5 Gin, Blackwater Wexford Strawberry Gin and Blackwater Juniper Cask Gin.
