This single cask expression was distilled in 2009 at Dailuaine distillery in Speyside. Bottled by renowned indie bottler Hunter Laing & Co., this expression was matured in a single wine cask for almost a decade. Just 240 bottles have been produced at a preferred strength of 46% abv. As with all the releases in the First Editions series, this single malt is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.

Nose: Apple, plum and raspberry.
Palate: Sweet notes of salted caramel, red berries and rhubarb crumble.
Finish: Medium with lingering fruits.
Distillery Information
Dailuaine (Scottish Gaelic: Dail Uaine, [t?al'u???], "Green Meadow") is a single malt whisky distillery in Charlestown-of-Aberlour, Strathspey, Scotland. The Distillery was founded in 1852 by William Mackenzie. When he died in 1865 his widow leased the distillery to James Fleming, a banker from Aberlour. Together with William Mackenzie's son he founded Mackenzie and Company.
