Mortlach 2010 HL Old&Rare Platinum Selection is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Mortlach Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2020 and is part of the Old&Rare Platinum Selection from Hunter Laing & Co. It is a limited edition bottling of just 564 bottles and has been matured in a single refill hogshead for 10 years. The whisky has a deep golden colour and a bouquet of toasted oak, dried fruit, and honey on the nose. On the palate, notes of dried fruits, spice, and oak are complemented by a gentle peat smoke and a hint of sweetness. The finish is long and smoky, with subtle notes of dried fruit and spice lingering on the tongue.
