The tannins have been tamed, and the wine displays an inky purple color, while the fruit offers up beautiful blackcurrant, licorice and plum, the body is full, and the texture velvety, opulent and long. In total only 400 to 550 cases are made each year. The first vintage was the 2005; the wines were released in 2008. Four clones of Cabernet Sauvignon are planted in a 3.5 acre (1.4 hectare) plot on a south facing slope of Diamond Mountain itself. At the start two wines were made; the GTS and Nancy's Fancy (now known as NLS). These were based on the two main blocks of the vineyard. In 2008 the maturation of the vines encouraged Seaver to blend GTS from both blocks.
