Nose: Vibrant notes of vanilla and citrus, toasted nuts, stewed, honeyed fruit, dusted with spices, and balanced oak char.

Palate: Cakey spices and oaken vanilla open the way for cooked apples and syrupy sherried fruit.

Finish: Warming, woody spices, sweet baking spice, creamy toffee, hedgerow fruit crumble, and gently drying oak.

The Epicurean is one of their finest. Douglas Laing & Co, started in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing, is a family business. They have been choosing and releasing Scotland's special single malts, single grains, and blended malts for many years. They focus on keeping the whisky pure. They don't use chill-filtration or artificial colours. This lets drinkers enjoy the whisky in its natural state. The Epicurean is part of their Remarkable Regional Malts range.
