Winemaker from father to son, Michel Ampeau, grandson of the founder, is currently at the head of the family estate. The vineyard has 9.3 ha, spread over a large number of appellations: Meursault, Meursault 1er Cru, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru, Auxey-Duresses, Savigny les Beaune, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay 1er Cru and Blagny 1er Cru. The red wines are suave, well balanced, full on the palate, with well-integrated tannins and develop great persistence and a beautiful aromatic complexity.
