It was established in 1985 as one of the first producers of Marlborough and today, the flagship Sauvignon Blanc is one of the country's most sought-after wines. The winery has multiple vineyards in the Wairau Valley sub region of Marlborough, as well as an additional estate and cellar door in Central Otago. Marlborough has a strong maritime climate with some of the longest sunshine hours of anywhere in the country, ideal for ripening grapes with concentrated flavor compounds.
