Starting out in the 1970s with nine hectares () of vines, the current Pago de Carraovejas estate now counts 220 hectares () of vineyard. The vines are predominantly Tinto Fino although significant plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are reflected in the wines. Three main labels are produced: the main release Pago de Carraovejas (93 percent Tinto Fino with four percent Cabernet Sauvignon and three percent Merlot); the single-plot El Anejón (94 percent Tinto Fino with four percent Merlot and two percent Cabernet Sauvignon); and the Cuesta de las Liebres cuvée, only released in the best vintages and 100-percent Tinto Fino.
