Enterprising and long-sighted, Pietro soon abandoned the galenic prescriptions and specialized in the art of making spirits. His dream was so strong that he managed to overcome the 1929 crisis and move to Verona and establish the first industrial plant of Marcati. The shadow of the war returned, destroying his creation, but not his spirit! In 1946 he starts again enthusiastically and generously. Giuseppe, Pietro's son, takes his place at the company's helm and continues his work with great determination. After a decade, the company is transferred to Sommacampagna where its business is consolidated. During the economic boom in 1960s, its products became well known and appreciated across Italy. In 1978, the third generation takes the lead and the company making a leap in quality, opens up to the global market.
