Inspirado en la leyenda de una receta familiar que se remonta a 1796, cuando se mezclaron whisky de centeno y whisky de maíz, Two by Two es el último licor en unirse a la línea de Basil Hayden. El whisky es una mezcla de Kentucky Straight Rye de 5 años, Kentucky Straight Rye de 7 años, Kentucky Straight Bourbon de 13 años y Kentucky Straight Bourbon de 6 años. Los cuatro whiskies se fusionan de manera experta para crear este trago sabroso y de cuerpo liviano que se embotella a 80 grados y adornado con una etiqueta de pergamino verde aplicada a mano y un cinturón de cobre característico.

Información de la destilería

En 1796, el maestro destilador Basil Hayden Sr. rompió "las reglas" al mezclar granos pequeños en el puré de una base de maíz tradicional. Basil, un trasplante de Maryland que no tenía miedo de destacar entre el establishment residente, conjeturó que el sabor picante del centeno sería un complemento sorprendente para la dulce suavidad del maíz en el bourbon estándar de su destilería.
