Machrie Moor lleva el nombre de una turbera en la costa oeste de la isla donde, según la leyenda, el gigante Fingal tenía a su perro favorito. Ahora incluido en la gama principal de The Arran, este whisky continúa capturando el paisaje accidentado y lleno de mitos de la isla: el humo de turba y la hierba se levantan y dan vida gracias a la vainilla y un toque de cítricos picantes.

La destilería Arran es una destilería de whisky en Lochranza, Escocia, Isla de Arran. En 1994, Harold Currie, ex director de Chivas y veterano del Día D, fundó Arran Distillers con la intención de construir una destilería en Arran.
