Este whisky de destilería se tritura, fermenta, destila y madura en una destilería artesanal en Silverton, Pretoria, a 1600 m sobre el nivel del mar. Para la maduración se utilizan exclusivamente barricas de roble francés. Esta rara combinación de barricas y gran altitud se ha combinado con la habilidad del maestro destilador para producir una malta de excepcional complejidad. El Whisky Single Malt de Drayman se elabora de la misma forma que su inspiración escocesa, aunque a escala artesanal.
