It aims to bring back the original Pernod Fils - using a recipe from the 19th Century. This absinthe is distilled from a wine alcohol base, in a French distillery in Thuir (not far from Perpignan). All artificial colours were banned from the previous recipe, and its now natural green colour is obtained through maceration with nettles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003ePernod Absinthe Tasting Notes\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eNose:\u003c\/b\u003e Grassy and floral with violet blossom.
