Four Roses Experimental Series No. 002 Honey Cask Finish explores a distinctive maturation technique, bringing together the distillery's traditional bourbon character and the subtle influence of honey-seasoned oak. The blend combines six-, seven-, and eight-year-old bourbons made from the OESQ and OBSK recipes, finished for three to nine months in barrels previously used to mature Four Roses Bourbon Barrel Aged Honey. No honey is added directly to the whiskey; its character develops through the casks. Bottled at 104 proof, this limited release balances natural honey sweetness, floral nuances, warm spice, and rich oak.
