BLACKENED™ es la nueva colaboración de whisky súper premium del maestro destilador Dave Pickerell y Metallica. Una mezcla de bourbons y centenos bien añejados y seleccionados a mano, con un acabado único en barricas de brandy negro y la música trascendental de Metallica.

Utilizando nuestro proceso de acabado patentado BlackNoise™ , cada lote de whisky incluye su propia lista de reproducción de Metallica, seleccionada y arreglada por la propia banda. Las ondas sonoras de baja frecuencia obligan al whisky a penetrar más profundamente en el barril, extrayendo más sabores de caramelo, miel y vainilla de la madera. Give Me Blackened!
"We may have lost Dave Pickerell, but his spirit lives on in every bottle. Let me just say Rob Dietrich you are doing the Blackened family proud, my man taking the helm as Master Distiller & Blender in Dave’s passing. This strikes closer to a Rye than it does a Bourbon on the nose. For me, I'm getting more oak, spices, & vanilla on the nose (Got Batches 124-125) than a burnt caramel. On the palate, it's sweet upfront, taking from the predominant Bourbon you get the honey & clove before it shifts to allspice & cinnamon. The dark fruit to me seems to be a mixed variety of currant, apricot, & lemon/lime & the mint is very brief & just overwhelmed. Though if you're seeking it you'll find it on the very backend. The finish is delightfully smooth, neat or iced & carries with it a delicious maple, vanilla, & honey skew that is reminiscent of butterscotch. This isn't just a write-off gimmick, celebrity whiskey. It delivers & keeps you coming back for more. Another aspect I love about this is the Batch Playlist, where a unique playlist was used to sonically-enhance the whiskey during finishing. And it may sound crazy, but I swear it does have an effect on the finished product. My 124 & 125 batches varied slightly, with more oak & honey being present on the nose of the 125 batch vs the 124. If you love Bourbon, Rye, & Metallica this deserves to be in your wheelhouse my friends. So grab yourself a bottle, fill a glass, crank up the Metallica & kick-back & enjoy"
